Position: Technical Support Analyst



General Description of Position:

ENTRY LEVEL - The person in this role will support the internal IT functions within Amcom ensuring compliance with all Global Imaging Systems directives. This person may also be called upon to support our internal application, the AMC360 App, as well go on network calls for Amcom customers


Essential Functions of the Position:

  1. Ability to work under stress/pressure to meet deadlines and objectives.
  2. Responsible providing internal application support to Amcom employees.
  3. Set up laptops and desktop computers with appropriate software for new hires and reissues of equipment.
  4. Make additions and changes to logins and e-mail addresses, troubleshoot any issues related
  5. Support IT Manager with maintaining Amcom's primary applications
  6. Support Amcom Customers as assigned network calls
  7. Support Amcom Customers as assigned AMC360 App task
  8. Other duties as assigned.
  9. Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.


Physical Requirements for the Position:

    1. Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Sit for extended periods of time in an office environment i.e. at a desk, in meeting room
  •  Educational/ Experience Requirements for the Position:  

     1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

      2. Previous technical support experience is a plus

      3. Proven Experience in:

Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Windows Server Operating Systems, Active directory

Microsoft Office applications

Network troubleshooting such as printing, email, and general connectivity


Skills Requirements for the Position:

Knowledge of networking, desktop software, and industry related applications software.

Familiarity with the Internet and the various assorted protocols such as email and FTP required.

Ability to learn new products and software solutions with minimum supervision.

Possess strong customer service skills.

Ability to manage strong relationships with customers, vendors, and personnel within the organization required.

Strong organizational skills and ability to use good judgment in performing conflicting demands and managing priorities.

Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions using all resources available.

Good Analytical Skills

Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member.
